For kids who are starting to go places

Off they go. You’ll know when they arrive.

Your kid is old enough to walk to a friend’s house on their own. It’s a big step, and a lovely one. Pip Pip looks after the bit in between: the other parent taps once when they arrive, and you know.

Saga is heading to the Lindqvists. Let them know.

Sound familiar?

The first time they
walk over on their own.

You want to let them go. You’d also quite like to know they got there. And suddenly there are questions nobody has answered for you.

  • Do they need a phone for this?
  • Is it weird to text the other parent?
  • How long do I wait before asking?
  • Will they think I’m fussing?
  • What does their family usually do?

Pip Pip settles it. When both families use it, checking in is simply what everyone does. Nobody has to ask, nobody has to remember, and your kid doesn’t need a phone.

How it works

Two taps. One less thing to wonder about.

01

Heading over? Tap once.

When your kid sets off, tap Heading over. The family they are visiting gets a heads-up.

02

They arrive. You know.

The other parent taps one button on their lock screen. If nobody does, Pip Pip asks for you.

03

Only families you choose.

You connect with families you already know and decide what each one sees.

Easy for the other family too

Answer straight
from the notification.

When a friend turns up at your door, tap Yes on the notification and their parent knows. No searching for a group chat, no message to write.

Privacy

Calm by design.

Pip Pip knows as little as possible about you, and only shares what you switch on.

No GPS tracking.

Pip Pip never uses your phone's position. It only knows what a parent taps.

No ads.

No adverts anywhere in the app. It has one job, and it sticks to it.

No chat groups.

Two buttons and a tick. Nothing to scroll and nobody to reply to.

Kids never get an account.

Children have a profile their parents manage. No phone needed, no login.

Only families you choose.

You connect with people you know, and decide what each family can see.

Gone after 7 days.

Arrivals and questions are deleted after a week. Encrypted and stored in the EU.

“We made Pip Pip because we wanted to know our own kids had arrived, without another awkward group chat.”
Built by parents in Sweden. We use it when our kids visit friends.
Questions

Good to know.

Does Pip Pip track my child?

No. Pip Pip never uses GPS or your phone’s position. It only knows what a parent tells it.

Does my child need a phone?

No. Kids don’t get an account. The parents at each end do the tapping, so it works long before your child has a phone of their own.

Isn’t a quick text enough?

It can be. It also depends on someone remembering to send it, and on knowing whether it’s okay to ask. With Pip Pip the check-in is part of the routine for both families, so nobody has to think about it.

What if a notification is late?

Phones sometimes hold notifications back. If nobody confirms an arrival within the time you choose, Pip Pip asks the other family for you.

What does it cost?

Pip Pip is free.

Where is my data kept?

Encrypted and stored in the EU. Arrivals and questions are deleted after 7 days, and you can download or delete everything from the app.
